Stree Utkarsa Loan Scheme (Stree Utkarsa Committee):

A woman is an important member of family and society. If a woman remains backward no society can progress. If woman is given support then not only she can live life with honour and respect but entire family can come up. For this purpose woman's upliftment is most important activity.

Keeping in view this intension Stree Utkarsa Loan Scheme was started by Seva Samaj. Under the Scheme ladies are given interest free loan to start/do home industries/business so that they can generate additional income and provide support to their family.

The activity was started, initially, with disbursement of loan for Rs.5, 000/10,000 to each lady on merit. A borrower has to repay the loan in monthly installments. Presently, the loan amount has been increase upto Rs. 1,00,000/-. Efforts are being made to accommodate all the applications every month.

The Scheme runs through the donations received from the public.
