Club of Mandvi (East) organizes a National Competition for the
youth on Business Project Proposal Presentation.
Objectives
are
" To provide an opportunity for KVO Youth
to share their Business Plans at a National Level.
"
To incubate / nurture / support / mentor good business plans.
" To revisit business opportunities for the youth in the
global scenario with a modern outlook.
" To encourage
confidence and self-reliance in the KVO youth.
Eligibility:
18 to 30 years. |

Applicants:
Management, Commerce, Technical and Professional Graduates /
Postgraduates such as MBA, BBA, MMS, BMS, MCOM, BCOM, CA, ME,
BE, MCA, BCA, MArch, BArch, MPharm, BPharm, MCatering, BCatering,
MSc Fashion, BSc Fashion, MSc Nutrition, Bsc Nutrition, All
Medical and Paramedical Professionals, etc.
Diploma/Certificate holders in any of the above.
12th passed with sufficient experience in vocational/ professional
fields may also apply.

" Oral Presentation (using PowerPoint) in Mumbai- Sunday
25th May 2008

A- Investment more than Rs 50 lakhs
B- Investment between Rs 30 to 50 lakhs
C- Investment between Rs 10 to 30 lakhs
Special
Category- Collaboration with traditional Kutchi Home
Industries to take it to Global level.
One individual/ group may send proposal for more than one of
the above categories.

required in the business proposal (written and oral):
" One page CV of applicants
and each of the other members involved.
" Business
description - Name and Type/ concept of Product/ Service,
Rationale, Vision and Mission Statements, Goals, Objectives,
Brand Name, Proprietorship/ Partnership, Legal type of operation,
Principal Owners and Key Persons, Type and Structure of Organization;
" Production/ Marketing
Strategies - Location, Facilities, Material/Supplies,
Personnel, Set-up, Market Share, Positioning the Business, Pricing,
Distribution, Sales Potential, Expansion Plans, Competitive
Analysis;
" Financial
features- Budget, Break-even analysis, Balance sheet,
Income statement, Projected Profit Over time, Cash Flow Projection-
monthly over one year, Capital Needed, Risk Assessment.
Added features such as pictures, graphs, bar diagrams, tables,
samples, brochures, any supporting documents, import substitutes
if any developed, etc.
Computerized format on 1/4th imperial paper, 12 font, Times
New Roman, 1" margin on all sides.
Original
ideas will be given preference.
Expert Jury comprising of successful business entrepreneurs
will evaluate the Projects and Presentations.
Winners will receive attractive prize money and good projects
will be incubated.
