Information Technology:
Shri K.V.O. Seva samaj had arranged a
Graduate Samelan on April 30th 2000 at Shanmukhanand Hall.
About 2500 graduates of the society were present in the samelan.
A 90 minutes session was arranged in this samelan on Information
Technology Committee was set to take up the activities related
to computer, telecommunication and information technology.
To start with number of Computer Awarness
Seminars were arranged in various areas of Mumbai with the
help of Local Institutions. The seminars were arranged in
the Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, Jogeshwari in the Western
Suburbs, Dombivali, Mulund, Matunga in Central Suburbs and
also in Vashi (Navi Mumbai) and Mazagaon in proper Mumbai.
After these seminar need was arose for
basic computer training at reasonable rate as there were high
charges for computer basic training and it was not possible
for common men to go for it. Seva Samaj decided to arrange
for training at low rates. It chalked out training program
with fixed hours for important packages at fixed rates. Computer
classes of all over Mumbai joined this campaign and showed
their willingness to impart training at lower rates fixed
by the Seva Samaj. Students who could not afford even these
rates were considered for further concession in fees.
The Committee also decided to arrange
for mechanisation of administration of Seva Samaj through
Computerization. Accordingly activity of Sanjivani Swasthaya
Yojana was computerised. List of all PolicyHolders and their
data were computerised.
Subsequently, following office activities
were computerised. |
